about Jobs Peak Labradors

Jobs Peak Labradors was a work in progress, a labor of love if you will. It all started about 23 years ago when we purchased our first chocolate lab. We named her “Yabby”, because our 4 year old son kept telling everyone we were getting a chocolate “yab”.

We live on an acre at the base of beautiful Jobs Peak in Gardnerville, Nevada located in Northern Nevada. I have been a veterinary technician for the past 35 years and I do everything I can to make sure my dogs and my puppies are happy and healthy. We are a small breeder who strives to breed for quality not quantity and only want to provide healthy well-rounded and beautiful Labrador Retrievers. We microchip all our puppies to provide our new owners with the added security of helping them be found if lost. Our Labradors are a special part of our life. We have always been impressed with the intelligent, gentle, family-friendly breed of the Labrador Retriever. Labs have the ideal disposition of being kind, outgoing, eager to please and non-aggressive towards man or animal.

The whole family partakes in the raising and loving of all our puppies. Our puppies are raised around kids and get plenty of attention as they are all raised in our home and treated as if they are our own. When choosing one of our puppies please know that we are looking for that special person who will love them as much, if not more, then we do. We take the utmost care to raise healthy, well-tempered puppies that have a willing to please temperament. We raise our puppies with lots of love and attention as we feel that socialization, and health are our top priorities.

Our dogs live indoors and outdoors and love to be spoiled by sleeping on someone’s bed.

All our labs are registered with the AKC and that is the only registry we want their puppies to be registered with. We do not post their papers or pedigrees online, however we would be happy to provide them to you upon request.

Puppies are sold with limited registration only. Full registration is available upon approval and for an additional cost.

Limbo is our youngest girl and is still a little “crazy” She loves her food and seems to think she needs more all the time, She wants to just sit next to me when in the house and loves to run and play with the other girls when outside. New Puppy Contract

We care deeply about our puppies and their future homes. To ensure the best for both our pups and their new families, all buyers are required to sign our New Puppy Contract.
This contract outlines the responsibilities of both the breeder and the buyer, including:

What's Included in the Contract:

Health Guarantee: Each puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of adoption. A veterinary health record and initial vaccinations will be provided.
Return Policy: If, for any reason, the new home is not a good fit, we require the puppy to be returned to us. No rehoming through third parties is allowed.
No Puppy Mills or Resale: Our puppies may not be sold, traded, or given to pet stores, puppy mills, brokers, or research labs under any circumstances.
Spay/Neuter Agreement: Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the buyer agrees to spay or neuter the puppy by 12 months of age.
